Henry Geoffrey Spring was born on 5 December 1880 in Calcutta, India, the son of Constance Paynter and Henry Coleridge Spring.[1][2][3][4]
He was christened on 1 January 1881 in Kidderpore, Bengal.[1]
At the time of the 1891 England Census, Henry was 10-years-old, living with his aunt Emma Spring in Tiverton, Devon, England.[3]
Henry died on 29 May 1901 at Vlakfontein, South Africa, killed in action.[2][4][5][6][7]
