Biography

Elizabeth Spring (perhaps also known as Sarah Ada Spring, her married name was Purcell) was born around 1838, the daughter of Catherine Spring (nee Hayes).[1]

She married Alexander Purcell in 1861 in Victoria, Australia.[1][2] Their children were:

Alexander died in 1885 in Port Melbourne, Victoria.[8]

Elizabeth died on 23 May 1888 in Prahran, Victoria, aged 50.[1][9]

Research notes

There is a Victorian marriage record from 1861 between Sarah Ada Spring and Alexander Purcell,[10] Sarah and Elizabeth are likely to be the same person.
