Biography

Richard Spring was born around 1789 in England.^[1][2][3]

He married Mary Ann Culpin in 1813 in Elton, Huntingdon, England.^[4] Their children were:

• Mary Ann Spring (1822?–?)^[7]
• Thomas Spring (1824?–?)^[8]
• Maria Spring (1827?–?)^[9]
• Charles Spring (1829–?)^[10]

Mary Ann died in 1837.^[12]

Richard remarried on 30 July 1838 in Peterborough, to Mary Shaw.^[2][3][13] Their children were:

• George Spring (1839–?)^[2]
• Robert Thomas Spring (1852–?)^[3][14]
• Emily Spring (1854?–?)^[3]

At the time of the 1851 and 1861 England Censuses, Richard was a rope maker.^[2][3] For both censuses, he and his family lived on Lincoln Road in Peterborough, Northamptonshire.^[2][3]

Richard died in 1864 in Peterborough.^[15]
