In 1936, Jack and Geraldine and two of their three children enjoyed an overseas cruise holiday, returning to Victoria on the Strathnaver after an Eastern cruise in the Viceroy of India.[14] In 1933, the family had holidayed to China and Japan.[15]
Jack died in 1957 in Brighton, Victoria, aged 78 years.[16]
