Cynthia Christena Spring (married names Watson, then Bass) was born on 5 September 1848.[1][2][3][4] It is presumed she was the daughter of Caressa Spring and James Spring, because she was living with them at the time of the 1860 United States Census.[2]
She married, firstly, Ethan W. Watson, on 5 December 1861 in Webster County, Iowa, United States.[1] Ethan died young, just 24.[1]
Secondly, Cynthia was married to Edward Bass, on 25 August 1864 in Webster County.[1][5] Their children were:[1]
Cynthia died on 9 September 1904 in Yell Township, near Centerville, Iowa.[1]
