Bezaleel Spring was born on January 25, 1821 in Hartford, Washington County, New York.[1] He married Eliza Ann Sweet and, together, they had seven children.

Early Life

Bezaleel was born near Hartford, New York on January 25, 1821. He was the twelfth (of fifteen) child of Artemas Spring and Sarah (Adams) Spring.

Marriage

Bezaleel Spring married Eliza Ann Sweet, probably around 1847 in or near Washington County, New York.

Together, Bezaleel and Eliza Ann (Sweet) Spring had seven children:

Home Life

In 1880, Bezaleel Spring and his family were living in Hartford, New York. Enumerated in the household at that time were Bezaleel, farmer age 59, his wife, Eliza, housekeeper age 57, their daughter, Eva age 25, their son Charles B., farm hand age 19, and their daughters, Annetta and Ruby, ages 17 and 15. Living nearby are heads of household, Patrick Cullens, Merritt K. Waller, John McGan and George Woodell.
in 1892, Bezaleel, along with his extended family was living in Hartford, New York. Enumerated in the household at that time were Bezaleel, farmer age 70, his daughter, Eva, domestic age 36, his daughter, Nettie Kearns age 28, and her son Charles M. Kearns age 2, Bezaleel's daughter, Ruby Day age 27, his son Charles B. age 31 and Charles wife Sarah E. age 31 and their daughters Josie and Mattie, ages 5 and 2.[2]
In 1896, Bezaleel, a farmer, resided at Hartford, New York.[3]

Land and Property

In 1855, Bezaleel inherited the bulk of his father's estate including the family farm near Hartford, New York.

Death

Bezaleel died in Hartford, New York on May 22, 1897,[4]
