Martha Sproul was born in 1890 in Goderich, Huron, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of plasterer John Sproul and Mary Williams.[1]

In the 1891 census Martha (age 10 months) was in Goderich Town, Huron West, Ontario, Canada.[2]

In the 1901 census Martha (age 10) was the daughter of John Sprul in Huron, Ontario, Canada.[3]

Martha (age 20), daughter of John Sproul & Mary Williams, married Wilbert Emmerson Bengough (age 24) on 17 May 1911 in Goderich, Huron, Ontario, Canada.[4][5]

Their daughter was Violet Bengough (1913–1999).

In the 1931 census Martha (age 40), Home Maker, was the wife of Wilbert Bengough (age 43, Electrician/Electric Railroad) with two children, in London, Ontario, Canada.[6]

She passed away in 1959 (age 68-69). [7] Martha was mentioned on a memorial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery and Crematorium, London, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada with a death date of 1959.[8] She is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Middlesex Co., Ontario, Canada with her Husband Bert, daughter Violet, and son-in-law Lyell Mercer.
