Francis was born in 1717 in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. He was the son of Francis Spry and Rebecca Unknown.
He married Elizabeth Hacket 30 December 1736 at Saint Luke's Parish in Church Hill, Queen Anne's County, Maryland.[1] They had two known children, both sons. They were:
He was named in his father's will dated 17 january 1740, proved 23 November 1741. He and his brother Joseph inherited 200 acres of Spry's Adventure assigned equally.[4]
He died May 1767 in Queen Anne's County where the inventory of his estate was filed on 24 March 1768 by John Spry, administrator. Benjamin Gould and Abner Dudley appraised his personal property at 11.17.5 pounds. George Seeger and John Wells signed as creditors and Thomas Spry and Francis Spry signed as next of kin.[5]
