Granison left Virginia with a Methodist minister and went to Tennessee where he met his wife, who was born in Scotland. They settled in Jackson, Tenn. (Not sure how this fits in with Drury though.)
Drury fought in the Revolutionary War from Virginia under General Morgan. "(Drury) was a wealthy man of his day... At his death he had many slaves and several thousand dollars."
