Biography
Rev. Burwell Spurlock, son of Jesse Spurlock and Sarah Harbour , grandson of John Spurlock ) was born on 10 May 1790 in Montgomery Co., Virginia. He died on 5 Aug 1879 in Wayne Co, West Virginia. He was buried in Spurlock Cem., Wayne Co., West Virginia.[1]
Burwell married (1) Elizabeth Morris daughter of Levi Morris and Margaret Jarrett on 28 Jan 1812 in , Kanawha Co., West Virginia. Elizabeth was born about 1793 in Kanawha Co., West Virginia. She died about 1821 in Cabell Co., West Virginia.
