Biography

Fought at Crécy. His IPM is Cal. Inq. p.m., vol. ix, no. 45.[1]
Herbert de St. Quintin, son of Herbert de St. Quintin by Anastasia, daughter of John, Lord Travers, married Lora, daughter of William Lord de Fauconberg of Skelton. [2] [3] Their son, also named Herbert de St. Quintin, married Margery, daughter and co-heir of Warin d'Insula, Lord Lisle (Warwick de Lisle). [4]
Herbert de St. Quintin and Margery had no sons, but had two daughters:
Elizabeth, married John, Lord Grey of Rothfield, called Marmion, who died without issue in 1362
Lora, who married (1) Thomas son of William de Poole, (2) John Clifton (3) Robert Grey of Rothefield, third brother to Lord Marmion, by whom she had a daughter, Elizabeth, who was her heir. One of Elizabeth's descendants was Catharine Parr, wife of King Henry VIII, and her sister Anne, who married William Herbert, Earl of Pembroke, where the title of St. Quintin has since resided. [5]

19 Jan 1345/6 Alice widow of Warin de Insula, knight, and Henry Tyeys, knight, her son Thurs. after St. Hilary, 19 Edw. III Alice has granted to Henry two parts of her manor of Shyrebourne, and the reversion of the third part held in dower by Margaret widow of Henry Tyeys for her life; to him and his issue, with remainder to Warin de Lile her son and his issue, and her own right heirs. Witnesses: Aymer de Sancto Amando, Herbert de Seint Quintyn, Robert de Hildesle, knights, Gilbert de Shotesbrok, Robert Hoppegras.[6]

(But the pedigree page looks more accurate and the narrative page possibly a typo with repeating words.)
