Dwight was born in 1909. He passed away in 1984, while visiting Germany. His second wife, Halis Pratsch (a/k/a Anna, depicted with Dwight in the attached photo), whom he married in 1977, was German. Dwight earned a living as a food buyer for a hotel in Hartford CT. In the 70s and early 80s, he lived on Boulevard in West Hartford.
Dwight's first marriage, to Janet Muriel Bethune, took place some time between 1933, when he travelled with Janet using her maiden name, and 1937, when they travelled together as Mr. & Mrs. Stacey.
Janet was from a very prominent family in Baddeck, Nove Scotia, which is on Cape Breton Island, and was descended from the founder of that town. Ironically, Dwight's ancestors were on Cape Breton long before Janet's, at least for a while. Marie-Anne (Heron) Parisien, a direct ancestor, was born on "Ile-du-Cap-Breton" in 1705, back when the French controlled the area. In any event, Dwight traveled to and from Canada (possibly visiting distant relations?) and somehow met and married Janet.
