DEATH. STACEY.— On 18/6/1910, at Lenore, Hillside-avenue, Congdon-street, Frederick, the dearly beloved husband of Ellenor L. Stacey, aged 53.

OBITUARY. DEATH OF MR. FRED STACEY. Business men of the State will regret to learn of the death of Mr. Fred. Stacey, formerly manager of Geo. P. Harris, Scarfe, and Co., Ltd., which occurred suddenly at noon on Saturday. On Friday morning Mr. Stacey underwent an operation, but he never recovered from the illness from which he was suffering. The deceased, who was 53 years of age, was born in Clare, South Australia. He was 35 years in the service of Geo. P. Harris, Scarfe, and Co., Ltd., in Adelaide and Perth, and was identified with Broken Hill in the early days. He came to Perth some 17 or 18 years ago for the firm, and represented them on the goldfields for several years, and then moved to Perth to take charge of all the firm's business in Western Australia. Mr. Stacey was known throughout the State, and was popular with all who knew him. He had only just resigned his position, much to the regret of his firm, and intended taking a long holiday, which he thought his health required. He leaves a widow, but no family. The funeral will take place this afternoon at Karrakatta at 3.45, the cortege leaving the residence in Hillside-avenue, Claremont, at 3 o'clock. The warehouse of Harris, Scarfe, and Co. will close from 12 noon to-day, to give the employees an opportunity of attending the funeral.
