(Nov 1933). CRIMINAL SITTINGS. The Criminal Sessions were continued yesterday In the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Richards and jurors. The Crown Prosecutor (Mr. R. R Chamberlain) represented the Crown.

Released On Bond. Reginald Lucas Stacey (31), of Thebarton, admitted that on September 23 he assaulted Richmord Lucas Keith (sic, King) Stacey, at Thebarton, thereby occasloning him actual bodily harm. Mr. R. Frisby Smith, who appeared for Reginald Stacey, said that his client was the son of R. L. K. Stacey. He was a widower, with five little children. He had been unemployed for about four years, and this and the care of his children had worried him. Before the offence he obtained employment and the reaction from this, together with bad wine, mace him lose control of himself. He was drunk at the time and did not realise what he was doing.

He and his father had always been on good terms, and when he realised what he had done he greatly regretted the injury he had caused. His father had forgiven him, and was prepared to enter into a bond for his good behavior. Counsel asked that Stacey should be released on a bond. He called evidence of previous good character.

His Honor said, in the circumstances he would accede to the request, and Stacey was released on a bord of £10, with two sureties of £10 each, to be of good behavior for twelve months, and to abstain from the use of alcohol for the same term.

Whereas the Public Trustee has duly applied for administration of the abovementioned estates: Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Trustee Act, 1936-1942, and the Testator's Family Maintenance Act. 1943, that all creditors, beneficiaries, and other persons having claims against the said estates are required to send in, in writing, to the Public Trustee, at his office, at State Bank Building, Pirie street, Adelaide. full particulars and proof of such claims, on or before the 22nd day of April, 1949, otherwise they will be excluded from the distribution of the said estates: And notice Is also hereby given that all persons who are Indebted to the said estates are required to pay the amount of their debts to the Public Trustee, or proceedings will be taken for the recovery thereof; and all per sons having any property belonging to the said estates are forthwith to deliver the same to the said Public Trustee.
