I appreciate wanting the common spelling for Shadrach ( sorry I left out the d in my original set up..) Shadrick who preferred SHADE as you can see in Census records and his Pension document (he left his mark but it is SHADE) Also there is proof of his DOD in Priceys trying to get Pension from first husband...
Stacy-2506 and Stacy-807 do not represent the same person because: While these are the same pewrson I have uploaded documnets showing Shadrick is how our Shade Stacy spelled his name and he went by Shade also I have the proof of his date of death in Priceys first husbands pension application as she has to prove her current husband is dead.
Stacy-2506 and Stacy-807 appear to represent the same person because: I uploaded documents to show that Shadrick is how our Shadrick Stacy spelled his name also he went by Shade as you can see in his confederate pension ... His census records all say Shade and His marriage record To Pricey is written as Shadrick ..
Thru Priceys info on her 1st hisbands Pension record we have Shades DOD
Sorry no upset other then uploading and editing Wikki!! So not sure how this all works ... Othen then Everything I have other then the Civil War card -- shows his name spelled Shadrick. My own Grandfather Druey Midkiff Talked about His grandpa Shade... He- Druey - also had a brother named Shade... I get the not being able to read and write thing BUT every record from Land deeds to marriage records to his own Confederate pension SHOWS his name as eoither Shadrick or Shade...
Also In Pricey's trying to get Her first husband William F Colemans pension she shows ACTUAL Date of Death for Shadrick Stacy ... So that can change and she gives his place of death as Coleman Buchanon County.VA Anyway HE our Shade was NEVER in the union so those references are wrong as well - There is a Shade Stacy photo that floats around it was our Shades nephew he was the Shadrach in the union... Cute guy!
Thanks!!!
Kim
