Mary (Staddon) Andrews was born in Hampshire, England.

Mary was born in 1865^[1]. She was the daughter of Richard Staddon and Betsey Hamblin.

She was Christened on 24 December 1865 at Goodworth Clatford, Hampshire^[2].

In the UK Census of 1871 Mary Staddon (aged 6) was living with her father Richard (38 and a Police Officer), her mother Betsey (33) and her three siblings James (6), John (2) and Frederick (1) in High Street, Stockbridge, Hampshire, England.

By the time the UK Census of 1891 was taken, Mary B Staddon (aged 26 and single) was recorded in Park Prospect, St George Hanover Square, London.

At the age of about 30 Mary married William Andrews in 1895 in Andover, Hampshire^[3].
