Biography
Georgina was born about 1843 in Raupo Hut, Auckland, New Zealand. She was the daughter of recently-arrived migrants Nathaniel Stafford and Jane Smith, of Manchester.
Georgina married William Crowther, owner of the stables business where her father Nathaniel worked. William was elected Mayor of Auckland and then MP for Remuera. They built a large house on Remuera Rd and raised their nine children there.
Georgina died at her Remuera home in August 1921.
