Margaret Stafford married by Papal dispensation (dated 19 June 1382) Ralph Neville, Knight of the Garter, 4th Lord Neville of Raby. They had John, Knight, and Ralph, Knight, and six daughters: Maud, Alice, Philippe, Elizabeth, Anne, and Margaret. Margaret died 9 June 1396 and was buried at Brancepeth, Durham, England.
(Margaret and Ralph were 2nd cousins once removed, by descent from Sir Hugh de Audley and Isoude Mortimer).

Estimated Birth Year: "About 1352" was apparently based on the 1351 marriage of her parents. However, her father Hugh was born "in or before 1342", so birth in 1352 triggers a database error (father too young). Her first marriage was 1382, and her husband's birth is given in Richardson as "1364-7 (aged 21 or 24 in 1388)". Therefore, the birth year 1352 in the datafield for this profile was changed to about 1365 as more likely.
