Biography
Petrus was born in 1707. He is the son of Heinrich Stahl and Maria Unknown.
Christening. [1] [2] From birth record: patrinus: Petrus Schleehuber in Unterwilflingen.
Marriage to Anna Maria Bross. [3]
Petrus was called Joannes Petrus Stahl, vagus, in the christening record of his first child Maria Barbara in Lauchheim.
Petrus is noted as "Vagabund" in the birth record of his son Leonardus, who was christened in Geislingen. [4]
Petrus Stahl and Anna Krossin were listed as the parents of Veronika Stahl. [5]
Petrus may have died before 1740, the year of the birth of a daughter of Anna Maria Bross, who was then the wife of Joannes Stromer. The Stromer child was christened in the same church (in Böhmenkirch) in which Petrus and Maria Anna Bross' daughter Veronika was christened in 1734. Like Petrus Stahl, Joannes Stromer was called a Freimann. Johann's name was incorrectly indexed on Familysearch as "Joannes Stromerfreymann." [6]
