George Stahl served in the United States Civil War.

He was baptized July 17, 1843 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran[1]. George Falde and Catharina stood as Godparents.[2]
He married Emma Margaret Stager (1848-1924). They had 13 children according to the 1900 census with 9 living at the time.
