Fred Stalder was born in 1869 in Sumiswald, Switzerland.[1] He was the first son of Johannes "John" Stalder and Marianna Steiner. Fred immigrated to Washington County, Oregon with his parents and siblings in about 1876 with what is known as the "Siegenthaler Migration."[2]
Fred Stalder died in 1905. He is buried in Washington County, Oregon.[3]
