Phillips. Polly's parents, Benjamin WESTRAY and his 2nd wife, Elizabeth SAWYER Westray, had moved from Franklin Co, NC to Chatham Co, NC about 1798, along with Elizabeth's son, John Sawyer. Benjamin Westray died in Chatham Co 1817 naming his daughter, Polly "Stallion" in his will.
