Hi Jane, Thank you for the message and question!

I see you solved the problem and merged your two profiles, that's great. Do you know how to clean up a profile after the merge?

Click here for Help Merging Profiles.

The Help Index is a great place to find answers to questions you may have now and later.

The New Member How to Pages is an excellent guide for getting started at WikiTree. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you create your family profiles.

Hi ,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. If you had a chance to review any of it, was it helpful?

If you have questions about how WikiTree works, I'm here to help. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

PS If you create separate tags for your surnames, the tags become clickable links to pages of others who want to collaborate about that surname. With the surnames combined in the tag, that isn't possible.

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family.

I recommend starting with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you create your family profiles. If the link doesn't work in your e-mail, you can find it in the public comments on your profile page.

Need help? Just ask!

Above all, have FUN!  :) I hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have!
