Biography

Janette was born at St. Josephs Hospital in Three Rivers, Mi. in 1983 to E. Daniel Stamper & E. Janie Nichols. She was the youngest of 4 children( Randy, Jay, & Jimmy). Early on she was afflicted with health issues which included asthma, eczema & an array of allergies. While as a toddler she got infected with the chicken pox & fell in a shopping cart causing a hair-line fracture in her right leg. When Janette was about 3 years old her family moved from Michigan to New Mexico. As she attended Smith Elementary, Deming Junior High then Deming High which she was avid in choir & color guard. She graduated in 2003. While going to school she spent much of her free summer days with her grandma Bev in Rodeo, NM On Valentine's day (2/4/2003) she married Joseph Compton & had 2 children. Elora Nicole (2003) & James Wesley (2011). They seperated 2015 & divorce finalized 2016. After spending most her life in Deming, N.M. she began dating and in 2016 she moved to Safford, Arizona and got a job at a local gas station. On Sunday Feb. 12, 2017 while driving with her boyfriend Michael she suffered a severe asthma attack. After arrival at the Safford ER she was unresponsive & flat-lined several times. Her family was finally contacted on the 14th & they swiftly drove hours to be by her side. That evening she was transported to St. Josephs in Tucson, AZ. Her mother, sister Jay & brother Randy stayed by her side. It was there that the family was informed that she may make a slight recovery destined to live a vegetative exsistance. Her mother Janie & brother stayed with her in the hospital until she passed on Sunday. Her body was donated & with that benefitted the lives of over 75 people. Several months later her cremains were shipped to her family in Michigan. Her earthly remains have been & are still being spread throughout her favorite places, buried with loved ones & held with those that love her.
