Biography

Mary Margaret Stamper was born in Westmorland in about 1869, she was christened on October 17 to parents John and Ann. ^[1]

In 1881 Mary was in Brigham, Cumberland with her parents Ann and John, and brother John. ^[2]

In 1891 Mary was with her parents, brother John and sister Eleanor Briggs in Brigham. ^[3]

Mary Margaret Stamper married George Joseph Hope in 1898. The marriage was registered in Cockermouth, Cumberland. ^[4]

In 1901 Mary Margaret was in Brigham with her husband and daughters Eva and Annie. ^[5]
