Biography

Eleazer was born about 1689 or 1690 in Connecticut. He was the son of Josiah Standish and Sarah Cary.^{[1] [2]} The Mayflower Society books are uncertain if his mother was Sarah Cary.

He died 11 Jun 1755 in Stafford, Connecticut. ^[3][4]

His will was dated 4 Jun 1755 and proved 24 Jun 1755. The will names his sister Jehoden Standish, the heirs of his sister Mehitabel Rood, deceased, sister Sarah Howard, sister Mary Perkins, and Israel Standish, son of Miles Standish. ^[5][6] He left about 85 acres for the use of his sister Jehoden Standish to be used after her death for a school of the First Society in Stafford. He named Issac Pinney as Executor. An inventory of his estate was made 24 Jun 1755.^[7]
