Ebenezer died intestate and on 1 February 1747/48, David Churchell was granted the administration of his estate.[1]
His inventory was taken on 2 April 1748 in Plympton. His widow Averick received some necessary items out of the estate.[2]
In 1749 an account of his estate is recorded and represented as insolvent.[3]
