I've placed a birth month of December...could be late November as well. Minerva did not show up on the November 13th 1850 Census, but shows 10 years old on the 1860 and 20 on the 1870.
1866 Marriage
It appears that after her father died, her mother took her and the other two youngest children back to Iowa. Minerva married James S. Thompson there on January 25, 1866.
See photo. Minerva's family is living immediately next door to her mother and new step-father, Clotilda & Adam 'Wafford'. The transcribed data below lists James as 78....I think it's safer to interpret that as a 28. It also lists his place of birth as IND.

1883-1895 Death
No hard data located as of August 2019. What we do know appears to put her death between 1883 and 1895. 1883 was the birth of her last known child, Doda Odessa. We have the 1895 census with both of her younger daughters, Tena A. & Doda, living with their elder sister, Mary Francis/Carrie Agnes and her new husband James Heberling. We can only assume that the girls were there because their mother had died. Minerva's husband is listed as widowed by the 1900 census. See his profile for all additional information beyond that point.
Research Notes
Blakely Cemetery in Madison, Greenwood, Kansas
is the burial location for her husband and several of her children--this is possibly where Minerva would be buried.
See also Minerva's neice Minerva Faughn-9 May's profile, Minerva may be a family name from either Clotilda's or Dempsey's side of the family.
