Biography
William Standleywas baptised on 25 April 1831 in Rous Lench, Worcester, England. He was the son of William Standley and Eleanor (Frier) Stanley.
William, son of William Standley & Ellen Grier, died (age 85) on 10 December 1917 in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, United States.[1]
Research Notes
- Removed marriage to Elizabeth Daniels (1829-1877). She seems to have only married once, as she died with the surname Dimery, her "first" husband's surname, in 1877 in Gloucestershire. At that same time, he was travelling to the USA with his first wife Ann, who lived until 1899.
- There is no evidence of a 3rd or 4th marriage. He married his second wife, apparently, when he was 70 years old. Reviewing the attachment of Hansine Pauline Hansen (1876-1892) would also be advised.
