Biography
Lydia was born in 1771 in Orange, North Carolina and died on 28 May 1792 in Grainger county, Tenn. She is the daughter of Thomas Stanfield-(1747-1823) and Hannah Vernon-(1749-1830).
Lydia married Edward West-(1766-1849) on 17 June 1791 in Greene Co, Tenn. and together they had these known children listed below;

- Richard Humphreys West-(1794-1844)
- Edward West, Jr.-(1798-1880)
- Anna West, Clark-(1803-1872)
