Stanfield were surprised last Thursday with the gathering of 20 friends in the Georgetown hotel honoring them on their 38th wedding anniversary. Daughter Dawna and her husband Dick Aitkens were the instigators of the surprise. A beautiful double-heart cake bearing the message "Mom and Pop, 38 years" was the table centerpiece baked by Dawna.
