Biography

The tombstone in Radnor Cemetery was read by Berniece Cornell. She reported Isaac's age at death, 36 years. Her calculation of birth in 1783 is accepted over the later, findagrave.com reading. isaac's birth location is taken from findagrave, to be Mifflin Co. PA. However, the location of Isaac's father in 1783 would be preferred.

Isaac and his wife Elizabeth had three daughters and three sons when they moved to Radnor, Delaware Co. OH. A few months after their arrival, sickness overtook the family. Isaac died September 5, 1819 age 36, Elizabeth, his wife died October 5, 1819 age 42. Daughter Martha age 5 died Nov 5, 1819 and daughter Mary age 16 died October 13, 1822. By 1890 only Abraham Lincoln Stanford (Berniece's great grandfather) and his brother David were living. Abraham Lincoln Stanford was four years old when his parents died.
