Biography
Kathryn was born on 9 Nov 1915, the daughter of Edward Charles Stanger and Ruth Markham, "Kay" married Albert G. Schmidt on 03 Aug 1935 in Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois. They were the parents of 2 children.[1]
Kay worked at Wood River Township Hospital in the dietary department. She retired in 1973. Albert was a plumber.
The Schmidts were members of Eden United Church of Christ.
At the time of her death on 3 Jun 1993 at her home, Kay was 77 years, 6 months and 25 days old. Kay was buried at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, Madison County, Illinois.[1]
