Biography
Sarah Staniford was the second wife of John Heard (1744-1834) son of Mary Dane and Daniel Heard. They married in 1777 and were the parents of nine children including Augustine, George Washington, and Mary Heard. [1]
Sarah died September 12, 1796, in Ipswich, Essex county, Massachusetts and is buried in the Highland Cemetery, there. [2]
