Rachel married Adam Crookes in the December quarter of 1851 in the Wortley registration district. Her husband, Adam, was possibly a cousin or other relative as he had the same surname as her mother's maiden name.
Rachel died on 31 January 1892 in Oughtibridge at the age of 60. She was a widow as her husband, Adam, had predeceased her.
