"Israel Putnam Dana, (son of Israel Putnam Dana), b. 27 May 1809; blind; m. 24 June 1835, Charlotte O. Stanley, of Rochester, NY, who d. Aug. 1836; m. 2nd, 29 July 1839, Almira L., daughter of Elijah and Susan (Hoar) Dutton, of Hartford, Vt., who died 23 June 1890. Mr. Dana was widely known as a teacher of music.
