Biography

Second child of Hezekiah Stanley and unknown spouse. Born 7 June 1777 and died 11 September 1860. Married Sally Hooker on 23 August 1800. Sally died on 21 December 1862. Hezekiah and Sally (Hooker) Stanley had eleven children: 1) Mary Stanley (b. 14 March 1802; married Daniel Brown), 2) Emma Stanley (b. 15 November 1803; married Hiram Hull), 3) Sally Stanley (b. 30 May 1806, d. 19 April 1809), 4) Eliza Stanley (b. 16 October 1808; married Reuben Doolittle), 5) William H. Stanley (b. 20 October 1810; married Julia E. Gorham), 6) Sarah Stanley (b. 15 October 1812; married Charles Bradley), 7) Oswin Stanley (b. 7 April 1815; married J.M. Thresher and 2nd M. Root), 8) Sophia Stanley (b. 30 April 1817; married Charles Bradley), 9) Ira Stanley (b. 28 February 1820), 10) Samuel Stanley (b. 25 August 1822; married Sophia Andrews), and 11) Catharine Stanley (b. 12 October 1829; died 12 January 1835).
