SShadrack Standley was born from about 1750 to 1758, in British Colonial America as the son of Sands Standley and Zilpha Edwards. He married Peninnah Jordan in United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Cheraws District, South Carolina, United States in 1790 and Marengo, Alabama, United States in 1830.
He served thirty days in the militia in 1782. [1]He is shown as receiving a 250 acre Revolutionary War Bounty Land Grant in Georgia.[2]
