Samuel Stanley was born on October 24, 1678 in Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, recorded as Samuell, son of Samuell Stanley.[1][2] His parents were Samuel Stanley and Joanna Towne.

Samuel Stanley married Mary Kenney in Topsfield on 2 May 1706.[3][4]

Children of Samuel Stanley and wife Mary were:

  1. Hannah, born in Topsfield, 26 October 1706, recorded as the daughter of Samuel Stanley, jr and Mary.[5]
  2. Samuel, born in Topsfield, 10 December 1708, recorded as the son of Samuel Stanley jr. and Mary.[1]
