John Stanley was the son and heir of Sir Humphrey Stanley who died in 1504 and was buried in Westminster Abbey.[1]
From his father, he inherited the manor of Pipe, which was in Brentwood, Staffordshire, England, and lived there.[1]
John was the father of:
Elizabeth, by 1522 she was married to Sir John Hercy of Grove, Nottinghamshire;[1] and
Isabel, by 1522 she was married to Walter Moyle of Buckwell in Boughton Aluph, Kent.[1]
John died in 1514, survived by his two infant daughters and coheirs, Elizabeth and Isabel.[1]
