Mum said that Aubrey was extremely particular about the grounds, yards and stables, everything had to be spic and span and all things in their place at all times.

Excellent horseman and a good drover. Was Clerk of the Course at Mowbray Race Course for many years. When he retired his son, Eric, took over the position of Clerk of the Course. Not a sentimental man.
