Henry Bernerd Stanley

STANLEY, Henry Bernerd – Age 86,passed away on January 7, 1998 in the Douglas Community Medical Center. Henry was born June 13, 191 in Pine River, Minnesota to Guy and Annie Stanley. He married Loretta Albright and together they has six children. He later married Betty Lamm in Reno, Nevada. She had two daughters and together they had another daughter. Henry moved his family from Minnesota in 1946 to Bly, Oregon to Milo, Oregon in 1948 where he worked in the woods logging. He also was a gypo construction truck driver, He later moved to Canyonville, Oregon where he retired and has residence since. Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 1980; five brothers, his youngest son, Kenneth Stanley and one great-granddaughter, Whitney Rose O'Kelly. He is survived by his children from Loretta, Robert Stanley and his wife Ardith of Veneta, Oregon, Gordon Stanley and his wife Renee of Canyonville; Shirley Austin of Eugene, Oregon; Terrie Braxson of Coos Bay, Oregon and Carol Epping and her husband Donald of Long Beach, Washington. He is also survived by his children from Betty, Vickie O'Kelly and her husband of Weed, California; Kathy Horn of Denver, Colorado; Meredith Chandler of Ione, California, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and sister, Ester Epping and her husband Sampson of Hill City, Minnesota. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 11, 1998 at the MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at ll a.m. Graveside services will follow at the Masonoic Cemetery in Canyonville, Oregon. Viewing will be Saturday, January 10, 1998 between 2 and 5 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral home, Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
