Fantastic! So that gives you solid scientific evidence of Joseph and Adam Alvanso being brothers and almost certain proof of their descent from Archelaus. Any chance this new Stanley cousin would allow you to add her and her DNA info to WikiTree?
Have you heard of what's called "Genome Mapping"? It takes some time and patience, but once you get a significant portion of your Genome mapped out, you can actually compare to an unknown cousin and be able to say "Oh, you're a descendant Archelaus Stanley because we share this segment." without even knowing anything about the person. And advancing beyond that you can actually start to recompile an ancestor's genome by assembling the confirmed mapped segments from various descendants.
I believe this is the real future of genealogical DNA study!
Final result (and we've a long ways to go) will be a person gets their genome tested and the results include a significant portion, if not all of their Family Tree! Exciting stuff!
Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
It looks like US History would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)
There is a Therese Stanley working now on a new branch that looks like it'll tie into Archelaus's Son Jessie. Check out William Hutchens Stanley. Looks like she has some DNA tests too, but I haven't compared any yet.

I came down with the Flu Monday! Must be a PC Virus! ;-/ Hope you're feeling better!
You got this! 3 days left, just a little more and you'll be sporting a 1K Badge!
