Thomas Stanley son of Sir Thomas Stanley and his wife, Elizabeth Warburton was born about 1598 probably at Alderley in Cheshire. He was sheriff of Cheshire in 1634 and was created Baronet in 1660. [1]
His wife was Elizabeth Pytt daughter of Sir James Pytt [2]of Knyve in Worcestershire. Thomas died in 1672 aged 74 and was buried at Alderley on 31 August.[1]
