Mary Eloise "Sookie" Love, 71, of Scott Depot died Jan. 2, 1997, in Putnam General Hospital after a brief illness. She was a retired industrial relations employee from Union Carbide Corp., South Charleston, and the Tech Center, with 35 years' service, editor and photographer for the Carbide News and a member of Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans. Surviving: husband, Randall "Ducky" Love; stepmother, Juanita Stanley of St. Albans; sister Linda Jarrett of St. Albans. -- Charleston WV Gazette, 1/3/1997
