Biography
Mr. John Paul "Pete" Stanley, 71, a native and resident of Waynesboro, MS died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Pine View Health Care Center in Waynesboro. He served in the United States Army as a Veteran of the Vietnam Era; he worked as a Truckdriver in the Oil Field.
Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Aretha Stanley; brother, Don Stanley; sister, Jane Stanley Crawford. He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony Stanley and James Stanley, both of Waynesboro; daughter, Roxanna Stanley of Waynesboro; brother, Terry Stanley of Waynesboro; sister, Frances Townsend of Waynesboro; 6 Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Stanley will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Arrington Cemetery, Waynesboro, MS.[1]
