In 1880, John, Hannah, and their three children were living in Americus in Lyons County, Kansas.[4]
After Hannah passed away in March 1885, John married Virginia Lee Ingram (1868-1948) on 9 July 1885 in Benton County, Arkansas.[5] They had several children:
John passed away in 1896. He is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas.
