Fourth child of Capt. Timothy and Mary (Bailey) Stanley. Mary was born in Goshen, Conn. on 24 March 1757. Married Adna Beach, son of Adna Beach, who was born on 10 November 1757. Mary died in September 1837 (in Winchester, Conn.?). Her husband, Adna, died on 20 April 1820.
Mary (Stanley) and Adna Beach had nine children: Sally (b. 4 June 1743), Horace V. (b. 10 September 1784), Polly (b. 7 July 1786), Fiske (b. 26 March 1788), Hannah L. (b. 15 November 1791), Adna (8 December 1791), Sibyl (b. January 1794), Mabel (b, 28 October 1814), and Silas (b. 11 November 1797).[1]
