Ottawa Citizen - August 11, 1920 - Late Mrs. R.W. Linton
After a brief illness, Mrs. R.W. Linton (nee Stanley) passed away (unreadable) early hour yesterday morning, August 10th, at the home of her brother, Mr. John Stanley of Osgoode.
On Monday, August 2nd, Mrs. Linton had motored out to spend the day with her brother and his family. She was suddenly stricken with paralysis. Although medical assistance was immediately accured and she had constant attention and careful nursing, she remained in a semi-conscious condition until her death.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Mr. R.W. Linton, one daughter, Iva, one son, Harold, a sister, Mrs. W.D. Brunton, and brothers John, Thomas and Richard Barber of Osgoode, James, George and S.E. Stanley of Ottawa, Jonathan of Stanley's Corners and Fleming of Vancouver, B.C.
The funeral service will be held at the family home, 52 Fifth Avenue, at 2 o'clock pm, on Thursday, the 12th inst. Interment will be made in Beechwood Cemetery.
