Biography
Phineas Stanton was born 17 December 1795 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA, to parents Samuel Stanton and Hannah Palmer.[1] He was their third child.
Note: The Barbour Collection has two entries for Phineas's birth, one names his father Samuel, the other, Samuel 2nd.
This Phineas Stanton married 6 Apr 1826 at Stonington, Connecticut, Fanny Babcock (daughter of Dudley Babcock).
